For one of our clients we are looking for a Document Management ConsultantProject description:
?he client finished an RFP to define the successor for the outdated Document Management platform IBM Content Manager. The outcome was to propose decision makers to go with Opentext. However, due to various circumstances we want to review and challenge this propsal to evaluate possibilities with existing solutions.
Task description:
Support Project Lead (located in North America) in all relevant tasks to drive all required activities to get to a final decision how to proceed
Drive communication and alignment between stakeholders in Duesseldorf and North America
Provide general knowledge about ECM/DMS strategies
Bring in knowledge of DMS solutions in scope like Opentext, IBM DMS, SharePoint, T-Systems ImageMaster and know the market and its trends
Review collected requirements for a future ECM/DMS solution
Validate vendor responses and capabilities of tools that were in scope of the RFP
Distinguish between requirements based on existing system, those being known for upcoming projects and those that could be rated as “nice to haves”
Identify available solutions and platforms that could fulfill all or parts of the requirements
Identify and define existing use-cases and possible target solutions/platforms
Work out and consult on defining a decision matrix with 2-3 options on how to proceed, e.g. implement completely new tool and replace various others, use existing tools, fulfill just the key requirements
