German Speaking Help Desk/Service Desk Analyst - Contract multiple locations worldwide

Client: Global Customer

Location: Multiple Worldwide Locations

Duration: Short term contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Global client of ours for a German Speaking Help Desk/
Service Desk Analyst
on a short-term contract basis. This role will be based in any of the worldwide locations of this particular client.

You will be providing first line support to both European (German) and UK clients, resolving queries, some of a technical nature, or logging and transferring (and monitoring to successful conclusion) for more in-depth support.

The German Speaking Help Desk/Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Accepting Help Desk, Service Desk requests and calls coming into the IT department from English and German speakers
  • Handling requests in line with SLA's and escalating up to 2nd/3rd line where necessary
  • Provide remote user support
  • Experience of supporting software applications or helpdesk/desktop experience, must have some technology knowledge
  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft Desktop operating system's (XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8)
  • Knowledge of MS server technologies (server 2008, Active Directory, IIS, exchange 2010 and SQL 2012)
  • Excellent communications skills with a customer focussed attitude

Call Centre, help desk or Service Desk experience is essential.

Must be fluent in both English and German language
