I am currently working with a client in Germany looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Manager.
They need this manager to understand the required support, plan for the support and organize the delivery of major IT transformation projects.
Requirements:
- A project manager with the focus of infrastructure and IT operations is required
- 8+ Yrs of relevant exp
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Broad Infrastructure knowledge (eg Network, OS (Linux/Windows), Application Server (Jboss/IIS), Monitoring)
- Knowledge of key ITIL processes and IT operations standards
- High degree of self-contained working
- Problem resolution orientation as well as high dedication to delivery
- Project Management
Job Description:
- Provide a single point of contact for projects to the IT line organization
- Deliver agreed SMO services to the project in time, budget and quality
- Coordinate alignment with other IT-related stakeholders like IT Enterprise Architecture, Information Security and Release Delivery
- Assist in defining and analysing non-functional requirements
- Project Planning with regards to scope, time, budget
- Prepare handover to operations by providing knowledge, resourcing and set-up/test of non-functional requirements
- Guide the project for the creation of required SMO documents
