For our client, a leader in mobile telecommunications based in Munich, we are currently hiring a Physical Verification Engineer (f/m)
Project start: ASAP
Project duration: 12 Months +
Location: Munich
The Role:
To join a diverse team of engineers working on PDK Development, product support and design automation
Your Tasks
* Implement strategies for new requests (RF, Analogue/Mixed Signal)
* Support all technology nodes that are being used
* Responsible for the development of layout verification runsets (PERC, ERC, ESD)
* Code test implementations and debugging
* Maintain the alignment and the schedules for techfiles, layouts and schematic libraries
* Carry out test automation procedures
* Documentation and reporting on the above tasks
Your Skills:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, material sciences, physics, chemistry or the equivalent
* 3- 5 years experience with EDA tools, proven experience of the physical layout (Digital or analogue/Mixed signal) process and verification steps
* Knowledge of PDK requirements
* A solid interest in SW development/Scripting is needed (Perl, Python, C++ or TCL)
* Experience in QA for SW development
* Very good documentation skills
* Able to start fairly quickly
* Fluent English, all documentation will be in English
