Integration Developer (m/f) Hadoop/Kafka with Java, Germany, Frankfurt area
We are currently looking to support our client in Frankfurt with an experienced Integration Developer (m/f) with expert knowledge Java and Hadoop/Kafka.
Responsibilities:

consulting and delivering software engineering work packages related to the specified technology and the current project stage (analysis, software architecture/design, development/configuration, test, release, run/support) in accordance with the relevant software development process and by using the automation tools supporting that process.

Design and implementation of resilient and effective technical solution for a Kafka cluster

Analysis and design of interfaces between business applications and Kafka cluster

Events modelling, mapping/translating of the application-defined languages to integrationdefined language
-
Documentation, creation/maintenance of standards and guidelines

Providing trainings to the development teams which build the interfaces between Kafka and the business applications

Installation, configuration and maintenance of Kafka environments for different life cycle stages
Requirements:
-
academic education in computer science or a comparable qualification and several years of project experience in the context of Hadoop and Kafka
-
As this is an international project, a fluency in English is essential.

Ideally, you were able to successfully apply these skills in the financial services sector.
Furthermore we expect very good experiences in:

Design and build of Kafka/Hadoop cluster

Productive operation of a Kafka/Hadoop cluster

Design and build of different interfaces from/to Kafka (Event-Driven Design, event definition, schema definition/schema registry, contract definition, delivery options)

Technologies: Java, JSON, REST, SOAP, XML, RPC
