Senior Specialist (m/f) Oracle DBAWith around 1000 employees and currently 500 freelance consultants, we support well-known companies in the implementation of their IT projects.
For one of our customers in Nuremberg we are looking for a Senior Specialist (m/f) Oracle DBA on a freelance basis
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
- Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
- Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs
- Ensure global IT support based on follow-the-sun organization as well as 24/7 on-call-duty
- Incident resolution, Incident management
- Implementing changes, Change management
- Installation of new versions, patches
- Close customer contact during operative work
- Supplier management for incident related communication
- Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
- Support in implementation Data Center Move
- Very good English and German skills
- Very good and applicable knowledge of Oracle and Oracle Dataguard
- Experience in database operations/management: rman backup and restore, Simpana knowledge helpful, EM 12c monitoring
- Profound experience in performance analysis & DB tuning
- At least 3 years’ experience with Oracle in production support
- Dataguard knowledge and production expperience at least 3 years
- Extensive OS knowledge for Linux / Shell Scripting
