Platform Expert VMWare & Linux RedHat now required by our Client based in Zurich, Switzerland, for an initial 6 months contract position with long term extension possibility.The position will sit within the Integration CoE with responsibility to administer existing systems and help to define target platform architecture.
Tasks:
- provide design pattern to fully support platform architecture, which is hybrid physical & virtualization based
- provide strong governance and architectural guidance to Solution & Integration Architects to ensure consistency across implementation, supporting infrastructure harmonization
Desired experience:
- Expertise in Virtualized Infrastructure & design patterns
- Expertise in Operating System configuration, management and deployment focused on Windows Server and RedHat based OS
- Extensive experience with infrastructure management and monitoring
- Extensive experience in software & hardware configuration management
- Good experience in release management, DevOps and Continuous Delivery
- Fluent English language skills
