Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for IT System Architect to join their business in Germany.

Position Title: IT System Architect
Position Type: 2 years fixed term employment, unlimited afterwards
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent
Location: Düsseldorf (business travel within Germany possible)

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a team of professionals to provide support to new and existing IT customers, and work with customers to ensure their 100% success
- Architect, deploy and manage virtual infrastructure solution including server, storage and network
- Responsible for defining standard engineering designs, templates, processes, and procedures for implementing projects that follow existing company architectures
- Participate and lead in sales pursuits and design/develop IT Professional Services solutions to meet the client’s requirements,including pre-sales solution development, bid management, contract negotiation, SLA/KPI developments, SOW creation, Due diligence, transition and operation solution development
- Coordinates activities with customer as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Rich experiences on designing and delivering medium or big scale cloud solution(Public/private cloud), take the key role in these projects, has full picture of the whole delivery process
- Strong understanding of P2V and V2V migration technology, backup in virtualization environment, VMware vSphere or Windows Hyper-V
- Strong knowledge of SAN,NAS, understanding the implications of functions such as snapshot, mirror, replication, NDMP, the storage implications for enterprise virtualization solutions such as ESXi/Hyper-V is desired
- Understanding of data communication protocols focusing on TCP/IP
- Experience integrating Windows, Linux, and virtual systems with storage systems. Experience with UNIX(Solaris/HP-UX/AIX) is plus
- Experience on backup solution such as Symantec Netbackup or EMC networker, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database is big plus
- Understanding both of telecom industry and IT service market
- Open minded. Good interpersonal relationship. Excellent cross-functional communication skills, spans organizations and continents. Outstanding analytical, motivation, and team work capability. Also flexible to adapt changes and pressures

- Good written and verbal communications skills on English and German
