We are looking for a SharePoint/FIM Architect to work at our multinational client in Munich

Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultant's

  • Support and advice the solution architect, contributing to the end-to-end definition of the solution across all architecture layers: business, information, application, and infrastructure.
  • Structure and complete business demand from an architecture perspective, and translate the demand into a viable, feasible, durable, and compliant solution architecture that can be delivered to budget, on time and to the required quality
  • Responsible for the production of the documentation for the projects, integrating all architecture layers.
  • Provide functional leadership and direction for other architects in the projects. Give advice and support to internal solution architects having less experience in the function;
  • Support the project managers/technical project managers in delivering a solution that adhere to the principles, policies and patterns established in the enterprise architecture.
  • Contribute where appropriate to the overall enterprise architecture through the delivery of solutions, solution architectures and models and proposing design patterns, principles, models, requirements, standards and policies to EA and/or security. Provide input to the Project Scope Architecture document;
  • Propose solution alternatives to business automation needs that are not supported by standard solutions, presenting the merits and disadvantages of each. Write the technical specifications for the customisation or application development based on the product descriptions and the business requirements;
  • Design, and support coding, test, correct and document customisations and developments;
  • Perform Architecture reviews to verify that the solution to the business problem is integral and will deliver the required functional and non-functional requirements in line with stated architecture direction
  • Consistently apply principles that guide solution decisions for business change and infrastructure projects, in collaboration with other solution architects and under the guidance of the Enterprise Architecture & Innovation directorate;
  • Determine the potential impact of industry and market trends in the respective area, and make recommendations for changes and improvements;
  • Develop Proofs of Concept as proposals to answer Architecture concerns.
  • Manage Non-Functional Requirements to support the business requirements and being accountable for the system to comply with those requirements.
  • Take ownership of required architecture governance deliverables and deliver results against respective timelines.

Educational and experience

  • University degree with minimum 8 years hands on experience with all SharePoint aspects and related products
  • Have a long and broad experience with Office365 aspects and related products
  • Have a long and broad experience with SharePoint developments and related products (in particular to adapt applications from the farm solution model to solutions compatible Office365)
  • Have an extensive practice of security hardening in all SharePoint aspects (experience with Microsoft Security Assessments is an asset)
  • Have a sound knowledge of FIM (MS Forefront Identity Management)
  • Have a sound knowledge of FAST search
  • Bring industry practices and disciplines
  • Being a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineer is an asset
  • Knowledge in Togaf, Sparx Enterprise Architect and Archimate would be a strong asset
  • Being ITIL certified is an asset
  • Being highly motivated, pro-active and service oriented
  • Good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
  • Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).
  • The knowledge German and French will be of added benefit.
