Beschreibung

The main role purpose is to apply effective PMO control to support successful project delivery. The PMO Generalist will apply PMO resource management alongside a consistent set of Project Management methods and processes. As the PMO Generalist, you will be responsible for delivering the PMO services that proactively support successful delivery to our customers and for ensuring that the functions provided by the PMO provide effective support to the Programme.

Main Tasks:

Validate and maintain project requirements, ensuring that they are in line with the requirements catalogue and changes are identified and documented.
Monitor the measures to minimise risk.
Maintain the quality lists and monitor the quality assurance measures.
Provide day-to-day support across all PMO services aligned to the current assignment or business area.
Provide advice and guidance regarding all aspects of the PMO service to the project or program team and peer level contacts.
Attend and contribute to regular meetings with other specialist areas such as subject champions and bring knowledge to the assignment.
Control and manage the resolution of any potential problems within any of the PMO services, escalating issues as required to the appropriate Project or Program team members.
Actively support the Program or Project in order to comply with any associated policies.
Adhere to and support the maintenance of the Portfolio Management Office Best Practice standards.
Manage the delivery of the project/multiple projects in partnership with the customer and business line to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service.
Operate within defined working practices, ensuring compliance with local project management policy, procedure and methodology where this is in place.

You will need:

Profound experience in the Project Management Office (PMO) including application of modem project management methods, tools and standards (PRINCE2,IPMA, PMI etc.)
Practical and theoretical experience in project management
Good technical understanding and knowledge of modern IT service processes (ITIL)
Strong communication and networking skills, first experiences in training/coaching of employees and teams of different divisions and levels of the company
Reliability,high implementation orientation, resilience, flexibility and self-motivation
Assertiveness,process orientation, creativity and very well organised, structured and planned working style.
very good German (native speaker) and English language skills and confident use of modem IT (MS-Office, or other common project management software)
