Lead Deployment Engineer. TELECOMS, HFC, CATV, Broadband, Customer facing, English and German speaking.
A Lead Deployment Engineer is required by a Global provider of Telecommunications solutions, to lead a deployment team on a large CATV programme across Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships from a technical perspective, and all deployment related issues..
Responsibilities will include:

Developing deployment plans; overseeing and directing Engineers in their duties onsite

Producing and communicating daily progress update and reports to the project team

Managing customer relationships: Being the site's main contact; recognising customer priorities and areas for improvement.

Maintaining engineering standards and quality - Ensuring all installations are carried out as per build standards and specification

Managing and completing Hardware integration testing and connectivity; Managing First Modem Provisioning, testing installed hardware for connectivity and throughput with Cable Modem with Engineers; Managing logical and physical equipment recovery
Requirements:
To be considered we are looking for a strong customer facing Engineer, who can lead a team and plan installation duties.
Candidates must have technical experience in the following:

DOCSIS1, DOCSIS3 Technologies installation, commission and test

Cable TV Headend. Video on Demand, Narrow cast
-
RF combining and distribution
-
Fibre optics installation, commission and test
-
RF in a CATV environment, commission and test
-
Broadcast
-
Networking, CAT5 and Optical, commission and test
-
Coaxial Cabling
-
RF Amplifier commission and test
- Fluency in German and English
Additionally, candidates must be happy in a Field based role and willing to travel as required. Base location is flexible.
