Our client, a global leading IT outsourcing company is recruiting for a IP engineer to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver the project schedule for formal review and acceptance to the Customer. The Subcontractor shall use this final project schedule to assess progress, manage deliverables, milestones, and change management issues and to record the planned events of the project, showing resource, timescales and milestones
Work with the final Client and Customers to identify and document dependencies, risks and issues associated with the successful completion of the project(s)
Escalate any project-related issues requiring assistance to Client’s or Customer’s Project Manager
Jointly develop milestones and delivery dates with Customer and the Client
Provide a handover, follow-on actions, lessons learned, and exception reports (if any exceptions exist) upon Service completion
Deliver weekly project status reports to Client and Client’s Customers and participate in regularly scheduled project review meetings or conference calls, if required by the Client and Client’s Customer
Create and maintain project lifecycle operational documents, including: project plan, communications plan, action register, work breakdown structure (WBS), risk assessment and risk register


Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in the Telecommunication Industry, preferably working on Cisco projects
5+ years of experience as a IP/MPLS engineer
Hands-on knowledge of routers, switches and remote access servers Cisco, Huawei, Juniper
Knowledge of network and routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS , MPLS-VPNs, QOS, MPLS-TE, ETH-trunk, IS-IS
Knowledge of protocols: HTTP(S), SOAP, IPSEC, DNS(SEC), Radius, Tacacs, Diameter, Ethernet/W-LAN/xDSL, TCP/IP, UDP/TCP/ICMP/SCTP, SS7, (S)FTP, SSH, SNMP, iSCSI, SIP)
Knowledge of network security (IOS access lists, VPN Concentrators, Access Servers , IPS/IDS) and experience with Fortinet / Huawei firewalls
English mandatory and German preferred
