Dear all,for our client in Munich we are seeking for a Technician Advanced (m/f).
Tasks:
• Compiling of documents, manuals, user guides
• Implementation of quality-assurance measures
• Compiling of documents setting out work procedures/processes
• Production of slide presentations
• Back-office administration
• Helping out in a project office
• Updating of databases or table calculations
• Handling of orders in connection with projects
• Asset data management
• Test of standardized test cases, based of existing test proceeding
• Activities in connection with the user service or in the context of 1st or 2nd level support:
• Receipt of problems or user queries reported via the hotline and either seeking a solution or forwarding the matter to the responsible person/unit
• Provision of basic user advice
• Network administration and supportIssuing of user authorizations
• User support
• Cable laying and network installation
• Implementation of network software and add-on products (e.g. fire walls)
• Trouble shooting (1st level support), forwarding of network problems (where necessary) to 2nd level support
• Implementation, test and tuning
• Database administration and user support, computer administration
• Interface definition and connectivity of subsystems to the database
• DB performance management
• Installation, administration and monitoring of IT systems (e.g. Windows (Basis, SQL Server, Exchange) or host or Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux, including middleware used)
• Deployment of existing IT tools for dealing with predefined problem and maintenance cases (ITIL)
Skills:
• Windows (Basis, SQL Server, Exchange)
• Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux, including middleware used)
• ITIL knowledge
• Experience with firewalls
• Banking experience
• 1-5 years of experience
• English mandatory
• German beneficial
