Solutions Architect (.NET, Azure) £1100/day, Frankfurt
My client are a leading consultancy business based in Frankfurt. They are currently looking to secure a skilled Solutions Architect for a programme to work on a Cloud Platform migration for one of their financial services clients. (Extensive .NET and Azure Experience is Necessary)
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following skills and competencies:
- Experienced Solution Architect with 12+ years of architecting and delivering solutions on the Microsoft Technology Stack.
- Expertise delivering cloud based solutions with Microsoft .NET (MVC, WPF, WCF), SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, HTML5, SOAP/REST based web services, hosted on AZURE
- Must have led projects that involve migration of on-premise platforms to the cloud, specifically Azure
- Must have worked on data intensive platforms (eg data warehouses and analytics solutions)
- Ability to establish technical development standards and get hands on on technology (ie develop low level designs, develop and review code, troubleshoot technical issues), if required.
- Experience of working throughout the projects life cycle, from initial project bids through to delivery
- Experience of implementing and monitoring quality measures, ensuring only the best code is developed
- Should be able to define and own physical and deployment architectures for hosted and on-premise, highly available technology platforms
- High level of proficiency on data modelling
- Ability to define and implement non-functional requirements for solutions
- Strong domain knowledge in Financial Services, preferably securitization (ABS/MBS)
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle while working with geographically distributed teams, delivering with Agile and Iterative execution models
- High level of proficiency on technology change management, continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks and tools
- Experience of implementing and refining software delivery, engineering and quality processes including DevOps
- Ability to mentor other technology leads and senior developers
- Strong experience in leading development projects and architecting software solutions from the ground up
- Knowledge of development life cycles, development tools and methods
- Great track record of mentoring and leading teams, improving technical knowledge base and creating technically agnostic development environment.
Must Have:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Hands-on with development, unit and integration testing - must have recent experience of building core frameworks and solutions using .NET
- Knowledge of cloud and DevOps
- Experience of working in an Agile teams with CI/CD, DevOps Pipeline and Atlassian products eg JIRA and Confluence
Interpersonal
- Strong consulting, client management and senior stakeholder management skills (including C-Level execs) in technology topics; should be able to facilitate technology architecture/roadmap workshops and solution demos with senior business and operations stakeholders
