Senior Network Planning Engineer

For our developing project with a global leading telecommunication operator, we are recruiting for Fiber Network Planners to join our business in Germany.

Position Title: Senior Network Planning Engineer
Position Type: Permanent
Start Date: 1st of February
Duration: 2 years Contract

Responsibilities:
- Plan and design the telecom copper/fibre network based on digital/paper data and customer requirements.
- GIS - data collection, verification, cleaning and conversion.
- Use advanced network planning and configuration software tools.
- Project planning, site surveys, cable lines routing, material planning, documentation.
- Cooperate with customer, field service companies and colleagues.
- Documentation of network planning updates.
**individual training plan (classroom and on-the-job) will be a part of the on-boarding process.

Qualifications:
- Education in Engineering (Telecommunications / Civil / Electronics / GIS).
- More than 2 years experience in OSP (Outside Plant) network planning projects.
- Preferably experience with GIS S/W such as Microstation, AutoCAD, Smallworld, or other network planning software systems.
- Preferably, not mandatory, experience with Megaplan network planning tool.
- Strong computer skills.
- Flexible and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Fluent German language.
