For one of our clients we are looking for a BI technical Consultant / Architect (m/w):Ptoject Description:
The client has conducted an RfP for global datacenter services. There will be a transition from the incumbent Datacenter supplier to the new one to shift all applications and services. The transition project is estimated to last around 18 months. Based on the results and definitions of the associated transition streams like architecture, governance, the execution team has to move the around 1500 applications and services to the new environment. This includes SAP, NonSAP, Domino applications based on Linux and Windows.
Task description:
• Consult our BI Stream Lead in designing our future BI landing platform for our various BI applications and solutions.
• Analyze and rate the proposed provider solutions based on our outsourcing contract.
• Conduct gap analysis's and support our QA team in ensuring the expected quality for migrated applications and solutions.
Required skills:
• Microsoft based BI solutions
• MS SQL Server, Analysis Services
• Windows Server Adminnistration
• Microsoft Active Directory (permissions, delegations, SPNs)
• Oracle Exadata
• Oracle RDBMS
• MicroStrategy & Webfocus knowledge would be a plus
• Datacenter Transition projects
• general understanding of component based application / system architecture
• analyze platform designs and identify gaps (GAP analysis)
• document architectural designs, decisions and definitions
• 2nd generation outsourcing contracts & Project Management
• Language: German & English fluent
Location: Dusseldorf (mixture of remote and onsite work)
Duration: 16 months+
