Network Security Consultant
Necessary Knowledge:
o Knowledge about IT Security methods, guidelines and best practices
o Knowledge of Process Management (ITIL V3 foundation), infrastructure and system operations
o General and Project Management Skills (Experiences in international project management)
o Experience of large scale IT operations in a multinational company
o Intercultural Competence, Team Spirits, Communication and Cooperation ability (Presentation technics, project management, ), High degree of Independence
o Very good English language skills
Specific Knowledge:
o Excellent Knowledge in Networking (TCP/IP, FTP, SSH, Cisco Nexus Switches, Checkpoint Firewall, Cisco + F5 Loadbalancer, SSL-Accelerator)
o Excellent Knowledge in Network Security Architecture (Multi-Tier-Architecture, Least Privilege Principe, Communication-Matrix for Firewalling)
Main Task Description for Service operations:
o Incident Management: 2nd & 3rd level
o Change Management: Planning and implementing all changes of the infrastructure (Firewall, loadbalancer, Switches, etc.)
o Problem Management: Analyzing, developing and documenting solutions of existing problems
o Risk Management (Availability, Security)
o Monitoring (Availability, Performance, Capacity)
Work Location: Germany, Stuttgart
Experience: No of Years: at least 5 years (3rd Level) in IT-Network-Security Operations
