Für unseren Kunden suchen wir einen Data Center Engineer, der sowohl deutsch als auch englisch flüssig schreiben und sprechen kann sowie folgende Anforderungen erfüllt. Sofern Anforderungen aufgelistet sind die Sie nicht erfüllen, aber aus Ihrer Sicht problemlos erfüllen können melden Sie sich dennoch bei uns!- Perform preventative maintenance on data center according to schedule and ensure effective working of mechanical building systems.
- Maintain all operations systems and perform all emergency functions required for smooth operation.
- Administer all service requests and provide resolutions to achieve required goals.
- Manage and perform all critical and non-critical processes and participate in various predictive maintenance programs.
- Documents all records for equipment, prepare time sheets and administer back up equipment at all times.
- Administer all emergency backup and ensure no interruptions in operations for same.
- Analyze equipment and perform repair as per requirement.
- Ensure all work according to local, state and Federal regulations.
- Maintain inventory for equipment keep records of warranty for all tools and equipment.
- Perform basic repair to basic building components.
- Supervise work and maintain comprehensive workflow and ticketing system.
- Guide the junior members in the organization
- Develop standard operation procedures for various operations.
- Manage all reoccurring problems and ensure work within timeframe and according to capacity demands.
- Assist all senior level engineers and perform troubleshoot on all customer issues.
Technical and other Requirements:
1- A successfully completed technical course (eg computer science, engineering, electrical engineering) or a comparable technical education
2- At least 5 years of professional experience in the design and realization of infrastructure projects in the area of complex data center solutions
3- Basic knowledge in IT-business architectures such as ITIL
4- In-depth experience in the implementation of complex infrastructures and structured cabling in data centers
5- Very good knowledge of Cisco UCS and VMWare
6- Very good knowledge in the field of storage with systems of the manufacturer NetApp or EMC.
7- Very good (technical) knowledge in Server operations and installation both Hardware and software. Linux, Windows, Etc
8- Self-confidence and the ability to convey ideas as well as an open-minded personality with very good analytical understanding and problem-solving competences
9- Have competency with operating systems such as Windows, DOS, Unix – Linux, …
10- Have competency with various scripting languages such as JavaScript, ASP, JSP, PHP, …
11- Have good knowledge on switching & routing
12- Have hands and experience on Cisco LAN, WAN & wireless devices
13- Experienced in switch IOS upgrades
14- Experienced in creating and configuring VLANs, ACLs, and SNMP
15- Certified CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ .
Wie lange geht das Projekt?
- Das Projekt wird erst einmal 1 Jahr gehen, mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit auf Verlängerung
