KAfka Consultant/Engineer

Due to the location of this project, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Germany in a freelance capacity. Required: - Strong knowledge of Kafka and related tools - Database knowledge within Cassandra/NoSQL - Ideally, experience with Ansible or Puppet - Knowledge of Linux OS - Strong Interpersonal Skills and an ability to engage with different levels of stakeholder - Prior experience of Providing solutions for issues with implementing Kafka - Ability to administrate Kafka Clusters Preferred: - Have worked within a Retail / Ecommerce environment (ideally 3+ years) - Computer Science Degree - Practical experience within big Data Environments (Hadoop, MySQL, Hive, Spark, Cassandra etc) - German Speaking (nice to have but not highly necessary) Offered: - Small amount of remote working after an initial period - A challenging, interesting and varied activity - Development opportunities in a globally operating group Please contact me to apply or for further information - or
