Projektbeschreibung/Aufgaben/Rolle:

The EU's legislative bodies have prepared a new Data Protection legislation. The EU General Data Protection Regulation will significantly change EU data protection law in several Areas. The Regulation was adopted on Mai 2016 and will come into force on Mai 2018. There are several areas which have “adjustment requirements”, e. g.:
- Data processing agreements
- Consent agreements and consent
- Information and access to personal data (to affected individuals)
- Process Register
- And some other new tasks (e. g. Risk Assessment, Data Protection Impact Assessment, Data Protection by Design and by default)
In order to comply with these requirements, a project within the “Regulation and Information Security” program has been started to prepare the costumers and fulfil its necessary obligations, while minimizing the impact on all line functions.
The project is set up with a “central team” that primarily translates the regulatory requirements to costumer's context, devises guidelines & templates, and conducts compliance trainings. This central team is complemented with “local teams” led and driven out of (and for each) line function who are expected to implement the guidance from the “central team”. The intent of this setup is to deliver the majority of the tasks centrally and only leave line function specifics to local teams thereby reducing the overall impact on line functions.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant (Manager) to play a leading role within our central team.
Task Description:
- Analysis of regulatory requirements and translating them into actionable work packs in costumer context
- Creating IT and functional concepts with respect to data protection and information security
- Alignment with Stakeholders from Legal, Procurement, IT and others on the Project activities, responsibilities and action items
- Preparing and conducting presentations and meetings to various the costumers internal stakeholders, documenting meeting minutes, follow up on action items with stakeholders
- Coordination of project activities, support of stakeholders in questions related to GDPR
- Tracking of project milestones and individual tasks, updating Project Plan
- Support in definition and capturing of internal records for processing activities
