Projektbeschreibung/Aufgaben/Rolle:

Motivation
In order to assure that critical costumers infrastructure is fulfilling the security controls set by costumers Security it has to be ensured that all critical databases and Operating Systems do comply with Group’s Hardening Standards. With the integration of the Symantec “Control Compliance Suite” (CCS) solution the costumer assets are checked against the given hardening standards. This is an important addition for our SOX compliancy and it assures that vulnerabilities or misconfigurations are detected, reported and re-tested within the automated regular scan process utilizing Symantec CCS.
Scope:
The costumer is seeking for support for necessary solution design activities to reach the target to implement further CCS instances into the costumers networks to build up the connectivity from different systems via collectors to the central Symantec CCS system.
Tasks:
- Solution Design for the costumers locally managed critical assets
- The supplier is asked to deliver a low level design to on-board the critical local market managed systems to the Group-CCS solution and to deliver a customized solution design wherever the standard solution is not applicable. Local managed critical assets are e.g. the PCRF system or our AAA systems.
- Detailed Security Requirements Engineering considering the Group CCS capabilities and capabilities of critical local managed assets.
- Contribute to Costumers Solution Design, which is based on a security definition document to evaluate different design options (the current preferred Design is to extend the group CCS solution, this also serves as a base for this SoW)
- Write the Low-level design for integrating a CCS-Collector (Physical/Virtual Server) to Costumers networks incl. Communication Matrix (as basis for the Firewall requests)
- Network analysis to verify connectivity from the CCS-Collector to Group CCS solution and design the required firewall rules.
Project goals
Detailed Solution Design (Low Level Design) based on chosen delivery option
. The solution design should include the network connectivity matrix and the list of IP Addresses of the systems which should be integrated (on-boarded) in the costumers Networks.
Implementation Plan Implement a pilot On-Boarding for prioritized Critical Assets
The implementation plan should describe the sequence and technical implementation steps to integrate at least 5 critical assets to Group Symantec CCS solution. Implementation Plan should provide guidance for the deployment where and how to install the collectors at chosen locations.
All deliverables have to be aligned with all relevant engineering and operations stakeholders and formally accepted (signed off) by the Project & Programme Management and Deputy CTSO.
