Task:Thoroughly understand the software QA Engineer is working with
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Develop Standards and Procedures to Determine Product Quality and Release Readiness
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and execute testing activities
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Potentially design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Review User Interfaces for Consistency and Functionality
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Requirements (Must have):
• 3+ years of experience in software testing / QA
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (considered as advantage)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience with performance and/or security testing (considered as advantage)
• Experience With Web/Desktop/Android Based Testing Applications
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
