Montash have been engaged by a Global Client to soure a Platform Architect specializing in Salesforce. Your responsibilities will be to perform landscape planning and define, maintain and implement enterprise wide standards of the platform. You will also develop and implement governance, as well as defining and developing a sustainable and efficient platform architecture. You will also maintain the platform data and support the integration and development of applications on top of existing architecture. Other Responsibilities · Define and develop a sustainable and efficient platform architecture and maintain platform data and permission model · Consult and support the integration and development of applications on defined application platforms · Plan and control the implementation of platforms in close collaboration with the business · Create and maintain coding conventions in collaboration with IT Service Delivery and other stakeholders · Select and direct providers technically in build phase · Provide 3rd level support within the organizational unit · Plan releases for the platform in collaboration with test and release management · Consult internal project and infrastructure teams as well as test and release management in the adoption of architectures, processes and process models · Direct internal employees and external providers technically in the creation and implementation of solution architectures and designs · Assess and approve solution designs and alternatives regarding profitability and benefits Experience: · A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar position · A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading teams of specialists technically in the context of projects · A minimum of 5 years of experience in analysing, designing and implementing of platforms · Proven experience in the team portfolio (certification is a plus) · Proven experience in essential IT infrastructure vendor standards · Proven experience in fundamental infrastructure and hardware security standards · Proven experience in relevant process standards (e.g. ITIL, certification is a plus) Technical Skills: · Proven experience in the application of common architecture frameworks · Proven experience in assessment of implementation efforts and economic efficiency · Profound knowledge about architecting platform solutions on PaaS (e.g. Force.com, heroku) · Experience with object oriented design patterns · Experience in modern security practices · Experience in modern API platform design · Experience in modern data architectures (e.g. event driven architectures, stream processing, and integrating real time analytics into customer applications) · Experience in Cloud native architecture principles · Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Git, Jenkins, Copado) · Awareness of general mobile solutions and architecture and understanding of on platform mobile solutions and considerations · Specific Force.com skills - Experience developing code on the Force.com platform - Ability to identify development related risks, considerations, and limits for the platform - Understanding of and ability to architect a solution to address security complexities, mechanisms, and capabilities on the Force.com platform as part of a functional security model - Experience in integration on the Force.com platform - Awareness of large data volume considerations, risks, and mitigation strategies If this sounds like you then please get in touch straight away salesforce architect /PaaS/ force.com
