Teradata/DWH/BI/SQL - Munich
We are currently searching for an English speaking Teradata Specialist to join one of our international clients based in Munich.
The initial contract will be for 6 months but there is a strong possibility of an extension.
Tasks and requirements:
- Preparations to replace the existing productive environment
- Teradata6690 on Teradata Intelliflex
- Create performance analyzes, as well as the resulting recommendations for action
- Workload management settings/optimizations
- Teradata backup solution together with the DWH architecture/specialist areas to develop and implement
- Support for DWH development colleagues in the transition from dual to singleload
- Identification of vulnerabilities in the Teradata environment (SQL's/Macros/stored procedures)
- Support the development teams in the implementation/operation of Teradata Data Movers
- Optimization of statistics collection
- possibly concept with regard to data quality optimization
- possibly data supply of the test environment from production
- possibly support with regard to data security (roll concept)
Languages: English (German is a bonus)
Start: ASAP (the client could wait until November for the right consultant)
