Aufgabe:Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for Front Office eFX and FXO applications and trading staff
• Ensuringthe global production Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
• Seekingopportunities to optimise
• Implementingchanges in accordance with agreed Change Management requirements
• Ensuring the well-being of the systems as a whole (the stability on the platform:e.g. daily health checks, monitoring of the whole platform)
• Prioritisation of all audit and compliance tasks and initiatives
• Engagingwith 3rd Party Vendors with regards to connectivity to the various Dealer 2 Dealer and Dealer 2 Client Markets
• 1st and 2nd Line support of all issues and initiatives
• Creation and maintenance of support documentation
• Weekday and weekend release duties including on-call if required
• Workingwith Global support teams to provide a single support solution
• Engagingin operations led initiatives to ensure that minimum standards are adhered to
• Championing good quality, reliable process surrounding managed applications, co-ordinatedwith all relevant stakeholders
• Upholding application stability by suggesting and implementing monitoring processes and procedures to aid early identification and resolution of problems (ITRS Tivoli)
• Communicating with business end users as well as IT Development / Infrastructure teams
Anforderung:
• Market data and Connectivity
• Knowledge of database technologies (Sybase, MS-SQL)
• Scripting skills (Perl & shell)
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of IT and the eFX and FXObusiness
• The ability to work in a pressurised environment
• An excellent level of customer service dealing with trading and sales staff
• The ability to work as either part of a team or alone when necessary
• A good knowledge of ITIL based service delivery
• A good knowledge of operating systems -UNIX, Windows,
• KnowledgeeFX/FXO pricingand trade flow is an advantage but not essential
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Good german skills
Wünschenswert:
• 4/5 year’s relevant experience working in a busy trade floor environment in a client facing capacity
• Very good understanding of eFX and FXObusiness
• Prior experience working with in-house eFX and FXOdeveloped systems
• Experience of knowledge sharing via Wiki, training sessions
• Adherence to Service Management principals
• Experience of dealing with complex problems and faults requiring analyses to find a resolution
• Consultation with customers for new or changed requirements, including cooperation in the preparation of technical concepts and in cost/benefit issues
• Assurance of the operation of applications while maintaining the SLAs and the internal and external regulatory requirements
• Maintenance of support documentation necessary for operation ( functional / technical)
