One of our leading clients within renewable energy is currently looking for a WTG Package Engineer to work on an offshore wind farm project in Germany.The WTG Package Engineer role will be a direct report to the WTG Package Manager.
Principle accountabilities:
- The Package Engineer is responsible for ensure outcomes on the delegated portion of the work package are delivered within the allocated time and budget constraints, to the specified quality, and according to the health and safety objectives and procedures of the project.
- Complies with all applicable project requirements in performance of the delegated duties.
- The Package Engineer is responsible for the review of contractor documentation.
- Implementation and use of the IMS within all areas of responsibility.
- Contribute to management of the relevant interfaces to other packages in collaboration with the Interface Team.
- Notify the Package Manager without delay of potential claims from or against the contractor, or other events or situations with the potential to impact the budget, timeline or quality of the works.
- Identify and actively pursue technical improvements and cost saving opportunities.
- Previous WTG package experience is essential.
- All tickets required to work offshore-GWO Approved.
- Offshore medical.
- Fluent in English; German knowledge is desirable.
