For our client located in Düsseldorf, we are currently looking for a Cloud Solution Architect for a big datacenter move.

End: 01.02.2019
Duration: 16 months fulltime
Location: Dusseldorf, remote partly possible

Project Description:
The client conducted a RfP for global datacenter services. There will be a transition from the incumbent Datacenter supplier to the new one to shift all applications and services. The transition project is estimated to last around 18 months. Based on the results and definitions of the associated transition streams like architecture, governance, the execution team has to move the around 1500 applications and services to the new environment. This includes SAP, NonSAP, Domino applications based on Linux and Windows.
Task Description:
Design together with the client's provider the future Cloud brokerage solution for the major public cloud providers. Consult all topics around MS Azure and AWS and ensure that the client's cloud strategy will be followed. Conduct gap analysis's and support the QA team in ensuring the expected quality for all cloud based solutions.
Experience with/in
* MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Bluemix
* Datacenter Transition projects
* Hybrid Cloud solutions (preferable in DAX 30 companies)
* Cloud Brokerage solutions
* Managed Cloud services
* analyze platform designs and identify gaps (GAP analysis)
* document architectural designs, decisions and definitions
* 2nd generation outsourcing contracts & Project Management
