This large telecoms client is looking for a SDN testing and lab specialist to work in the B2B Technology area.
The role will be based in Germany (pref. location Cologne or Stuttgart) with some travelling in Germany and the Netherlands will be required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Management. - Review business requirements, design documentation for completeness and testability; create effective trial scripts that trial all scenarios across all pieces of equipment where a new product is launched
Project Governance & Delivery - Careful preparation of trial entry and exit criteria, including working with the project team to ensure this is aligned with any 3rd party contractual criteria; identify and manage bugs, risks, issues and impacts to customer experience; work with trialists, key stakeholders & operational representatives to ensure bugs and issues are understood and documented correctly; ensure that Trial strategy has been signed off by key stakeholders; regular reports on defects and issue status to the project team and stakeholders; ensure trial acceptance criteria is met and approval is obtained; conduct post closure review, collating any lessons learnt.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Must have hands on experience with DOCSIS (CMTS and Cable Modem)
Should be CCNP and/or CCIE
Must have experience with L2 switching technologies
Must have experience with working of MPLS PE's (Cisco, ALU, Juniper,etc)
Must have hands on experience on the vendors mentioned
Must have experience with working of MP BGP MPLS LDP/RSVP (Cisco, ALU, Juniper,Huawei, etc)
Must have hands-on and design experience ice with IPv6
Must have a very high understanding of networking functions including TCP/IP & the physical layer
Should have certification level of CCIE, or other vendor equivalent, or knowledge matching the level
German language skills preferred
