Aufgabenbeschreibung:- On-site iterative consultations to go through the high level system requirements [ICSIREQ] and discuss how to address them in the best suitable way in the system design
- Market Analysis of solution:
- Trade-off analysis on existing available solutions that are compliant to the overall result of the design
- Financial evaluation
- Selection of best vendor solution
- Identify the components that require to be developed or require heavy integration/adaptation, so that the additional development/integration activities can be initiated early enough to ensure timely delivery of the overall system. Develop a set of requirements describing these components.
- Provide ICSI System Design and ICSI Design Justification Document for the overall solution as per applicable ICSI - Architecture Concept Document.
In addition:
- Perform a competitive pre-selection of a supplier in accordance with the processes described in this contract
- The selection process shall include the following metrics in addition to the ones defined within the contract:
- Possibility to separately re-tender the main components without affecting the overall system (avoidance of implicit lock-ins);
- Ability of the supplier to deliver the final System
- During the selection the tentative prices for infrastructure maintenance shall be obtained. This includes the HW/ SW maintenance, replacement of items in case of failure;
- The Design Justification shall also include:
- A report of the assessment of the existing hardware and its potential re-usability for the final System and apportioning to which hemisphere/technology stack;
- A rational and justification of the supplier selection process and elaboration of its results including the target price and why the price obtained is the most advantageous in comparison within the competition.
