For our client located in Dusseldorf we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Project Manager for a Datacenter move project.

End Date:
Location: Düsseldorf, 1 day remote possible
Volume: fulltime
Language: English fluent, German fluent (desirable)

Project Description:

The client conducted an RfP for global datacenter services. There will be a transition from the incumbent Datacenter supplier to the new one to shift all applications and services. The transition project is estimated to last around 18 months. Based on the results and definitions of the associated transition streams like architecture, governance, the execution team has to move the around 1500 applications and services to the new environment. This includes SAP, NonSAP, Domino applications based on Linux and Windows.

For this project support is needed for various roles.

Task Description:

The transition from the former provider towards a new provider will also require a data center move.

The role of the quality assurance consultant covers the overall quality management for the datacenter transition until all Servers, applications and services are fully integrated in the new Service Management concept.

- Develop a quality assurance plan for the datacenter transition
- Create quality management road maps for each identified service
- Identify critical control points and preventive measures
- Prepare quality documentation
- Establish critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures
- Monitor the transition process
- Quality assurance during the transition process
- Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.

Must have:
- Proven record of quality management skills in datacenter environments and transitions
- Coordination of alignment with stakeholders to strive an agreement
- Proven track record of Hands-on ITIL process life cycle management (ability to guide and teach)
- 5+ years Datacenter Operations of typical Datacenter Processes (iTOM)
- 5+ years of Service Delivery Management (hands-on and theoretically)
- Delivered Datacenter migration from the Process point of view (Reference project in the same scale)
- Strong technical background to understand cross platform dependencies

Nice to have:
- ITIL Certification; HERMES5 experience; SCRUM experience

Abilities
- Ability to build a quality management road map for each identified service
- Strong process background in understanding each of the ITIL processes and how they impact business and IT service individually
- Ability to define quality gates for change, risk, issue and acceptance management
- Ability to define and document policy, procedures and specific measurements for each identified ITIL processes.
- Ability to guide a large program organization with the right direction to implemented Processes in terms of business value and risk reduction on every management level.
- Ability to evaluate the whether the contract/policy objective are effective by seeking adequate responses and records
- Ability to evaluate the successful implementation of a process and tools
