Transmission Engineer required with the following - To Support/cooperation within the framework of the upcoming projects for technical optimisation (ROADM ...) as well as expansion of the WDM backbone of BWI IT.
In particular, the activities that arise during the technical implementation on the basis of the commissioning by the planning for the realization of new sections/sections in the WDM backbone.
Furthermore:
Monitoring the WAN transport network
Initiate or implement fault removal measures
Setting up/parameterizing WAN network components
Creation of technical documentation
Collaboration in the development and implementation of optimization measures for operational aspects (technology, tools, processes/processes) call
Candidates should have -
Completed vocational training in a training course in information, communication and communications technology or proof of equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
Thorough knowledge of the rules of a business and process manual
IT processes according to ITIL
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the application of ticket systems, eg MAXIMO
Knowledge and experience in Active Directory (AD), TCP/IP and server operation W2003, Maintenance, Operating Systems, Windows 2003 Server, MS Office,
Safe handling of technology-specific tools
Knowledge and experience in dealing with knowledge databases
analytical skills as well as good organization and coordination skills
In-depth knowledge of the application of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of networks and corresponding protocols, active and inactive WAN/LAN components, as well as data protection and data protection
Good knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP
Basic knowledge IPSec, MPLS, IP-Multicasting, QoS, VoIP
