Our client is currently looking for an IT Delivery Manager (m/f) for a project in Dusseldorf.

• Accountable for delivery of the end-to-end successful implementation of all IT deliverables and milestones in the Project/Workstream on time, budget and quality as initially defined/agreed.
• Working closely with the Business and Business Analysts supported by the Solution Delivery central team, secure the implementation of a streamlined, standard and simple process and system by supporting the execution of a structured fit/gap analysis and incremental design using the defined methodology. Accountable for scope management, working closely with the Solution Delivery central team from a solution perspective and with the business on the processes and implementation aspects. Accountable for ensuring the compliance to the methodology defined and/or securing the necessary improvements shared with the PMO and the central teams (Implementation and Solution Delivery).
• Working closely with central IT Delivery teams (Solution Delivery, Implementation, Test, Data, and Deployment) and the System Integration external partner(s), drive and execute end-to-end implementation of integrated solution components such as SAP, other platforms, interfaces and legacy systems.
• Working closely with the PMO, plan all deliverables and related activities for the implementation and manage day-to-day all required resources and parties to deliver according to plan. Accountable to report a true status of the project along with the PMO, by providing content as input. Accountable to represent the project from an IT Delivery perspective in all status meetings and other governance bodies. Along with the PMO, accountable for escalating prioritized, clear and true risks and issues and for managing their mitigation and closure. Finally accountable to ensure all required decisions that impact the project are obtained on time or escalated.
• Working closely with the Change Management team and the Central Deployment team, drive security and access control in the implementation, including SAP roles.
• Drive the business and other resources to input required content, participate in tests and validate outputs necessary for successful testing of the integrated solution and data creation and migration working closely with the central teams (Test, Data Migration and Integration)
• Working closely with the Infrastructure central team, ensure the appropriate environments are available as required in every phase of the project to adhere to plan. Ensure all required infrastructure is available for the project working closely with the infrastructure team. Ensure project activities are performed during software upgrades and enhancements as required by the central teams.
• Accountable for maintaining good working relationship with all stakeholders in the Project
• Working closely with the central team Solution Delivery, accountable to manage the performance of the System Integration Partner in regards to the project implementation
• Leads the IT deployment for the Project, working closely with the Deployment central team, accountable for the successful cutover and deployment activities for IT.

• Strong proven project management; PMI or Prince certification desirable,
• Track record of successful complex project implementations.
• Preferred experience: One or more end-to-end successful implementations of ICM, if possible integrated to FS-CD SAP modules. The organizational master data managed by OM or PD-ORG.
• Desirable expertise and experience in SAP implementation covering all key aspects of IT (Application, Data, Test, Infrastructure, Deployment) with background in Insurance modules.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills ? ability to balance conflicting needs
• Strong stakeholder management across all levels
• Hands-on management of complex multi-site SAP projects, with a very strong emphasis on planning, execution, control and successful delivery on time and budget
• Ability to drive teams in a complex and distributed team, managing various parties
• Experience with project matrix management and management of system integration partners and other 3rd parties with off-shore delivery model experience
• Operational and/or other relevant capabilities and experience especially in Commissions and Cash Disbursements in Insurance
• Hands on experience with large SAP project cutover and deployment activities
