IT Sales Manager

Manning Global’s Client is the world's largest telecommunication vendor, serving one third of the world's population in 170 countries. Dedicated to innovation and continuously pushing the boundaries of ICT, they are developing networks, solutions and devices to connect systems, businesses, cities, societies and people around the globe. We are currently recruiting for an IT Sales Manager to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities:
- Active participation in account planning and account development
- Work closely with Solution Sales team, marketing and R&D organization to meet customer requirements
- Develop new leads and opportunities for IT infrastructure (server, storage) with the customer
- Identification of cross- and up-sell scenarios in a joint effort with solution sales
- Pro-active management of specific opportunities - develop, understand & document customer requirements
- Presentation of technical concepts and proposals on different organizational levels
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge internally and with our partners
- Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in IT infrastructure
- Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the markets for IT working with a sales and business development team

Qualifications:
- At least 8 years experience in IT infrastructure sales, in particular Telco industry
- Ability to clearly identify and communicate values for the customer
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Used to apply sales methodologies and tools in the sales process
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure in particular server (x86), HPC, storage
- Very good skills in analyzing of complex business requirements
- Good English/German communication skills in both speaking and writing
- Excellent interpersonal understanding, ability for communication and coordination in IT technical environment
- Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries and operate successfully in an intense business environment
- Must qualifications:
- IT Sales in Telco industry
- Fluent German and English, in writing and speaking
