For our international successful client in the energy sector we are looking for Hadoop Test Engineer (m/f) in a predictive maintenance project at Hannover.
Following tasks could be yours:- Data Test-Engineer in the client?s test team
- Setup and run end-to-end Test for digital product developments projects based on Hadoop
- Setup ""black box"" test cases and tests for Data layer to compare source data with Hadoop on top of Unit Tests
- Setup Jenkins jobs to run test case chain
- Plan automated test cycles, integrate into overall testing procedure
- Ensure success of continuous integration and quality control through automation
- Work with Product Owner / Co-product Owners, Technical Architects and Development Team to understand functional and technical requirements and create high quality solutions

- Several years experience as Test Engineer (m/f) in agile environment
- Experience with DevOps
- Understanding of data driven testing approaches and experience with testing tools and testing styles such as: unit testing, automated testing, continuous integration
- Familiarity with Jenkins job creation for test automation is a plus
- Experience with Hadoop/Hive development and testing is a plus
- Ability to understand business value requirements and acceptance criteria and translate them into test objectives
Languages: fluent german and english
Location: Hannover (partly remote possible, sometimes travel to Quickborn)
Start: 21. August 2017
Duration: 31.12.2017 (with option on extension)
