An exclusive opportunity to work with an industry leading Telco Vendor, supporting a large scale Digital BSS transformation for a Tier 1 operator in Germany. With an scope of 3 years for the transformation, the client is ooffering the opportunity to work across multiple projects globally. BSS Test Engineer will be required to work within a multi-discipline, multi-site programme team, with specific responsibility focused on broad range of "hands on" testing and QA activities.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
The key responsibilities of the OSS/BSS Test Engineer will vary during the life cycle of the Project as required, but will include;
- Work closely with the OSS/BSS Test Analysts
- Engage and work alongside suppliers and testing partners to ensure tests are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop a clear understanding of the System/s under test, as well as programme personnel, methodologies and requirements.
- Assist the Test Analysts in definition of Test Artifacts.
- Assist with the creation of Test Cases and identify associated pre-requisites.
- Identification and definition of test data requirements.
- Track and maintain compliance within project processes.
- Proactively report back into the test organisation and escalate where appropriate;
- Liaise with product/design team colleagues to ensure service products meet requirements;
- Participating in regular Progress Reviews and identifying risks, issues and lessons learned to the Engineering Manager and Test Manager;
- Prepare & distribute regular status reports as required.
