For one of our clients we are looking for an SAP Solution Manager Consultant
Project Description:
The client is doing a Solution Manager Migration from Version 7.1 to 7.2 (greenfield approach with partly taking over of data from old system).
Task Description:
- Checking deliverables from datacenter provider (check SolMan preparation and Basis settings, managed system settings, etc).
- Consulting for the setup of the new solution definition based on structural changes in SolMan 7.2.
- Check parameters of Application, Database and Operation Systems; Create recommendations for improvements, hand over to datacenter providers and track implementation.
- Setting up Willy Introscope and introduce JAVA Stack systems into monitoring
- Collecting requirement in direction of SAP Basis from application owners using the solution manager and ensuring the implementation. Applications in use for example are Test Workbench, CHARM and CHARM light, Business Process Monitoring, Configuration Validation and more.
- Setting up charm light implementation in SolMan 7.2.
- troubleshooting and issue fixing during test phases and during go live
- In Addition to the SolMan project, additional smaller projects should be supported with troubleshooting for Unix Scripting, Checking and optimizing of system parameters for Java Stacks, troubleshooting for RFC connections via SAP-Router and execution of system sizing.
