My client a global market leader based in Berlin is searching for an English speaking SAP PP/PM Consultant.

The departments Plant Maintenance Applications provides functional and technical expertise to global application support and maintenance as well as to local or international projects. He/she has a deep understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) which will be introduced to the client. A general knowledge in Materials Management (Master Data, Purchasing, Inventory and Warehouse Management) and a good background of interfaced SAP modules, especially to Controlling, is required.
Key responsibilities and challenges
Run IS Applications/Application Management
- Provide user support for Key Users in local companies
- Coordinate and perform bug fixing with Key Users and 3rd party
- Identify, suggest and implement improvements in operations to increase quality of support and support processes. Provide content support in 3rd party negotiations/agreements
- Govern third parties to ensure stable second and third level support
- Verification of license models and planning of application budgets
- Define, implement and improve support models for applications in plant maintenance
- Contribute in Application Life Cycle Management for manufacturing applications
Design & Build of IS Applications
- Preparation and maintenance of training documents for the new plant maintenance solution
- Create and review of the functional designs and estimate of development effort
- Facilitate the integration between projects and support and realize the role as scenario owner
- Organize, conduct and/or support test activities for change requests and projects
- Prepare and conduct workshops with the Business Solution & Services Analysts and business to specify business requirements and discuss potential application solutions following the business and IS strategy
- Identify, develop and document solutions based on business requirements and clients standards. Develop and document and/or coordinate the development of the technical designs.
- Organize, conduct and/or support test activities for change requests and projects
- Preparation and maintenance of training documents for the plant maintenance solution
