For our client we are looking for an storage expert with experience in EMC Storage products
Start: ASAP (latest mid August)
Duration: + 6 Month
Location: Ratingen

Volume: Fulltime
Tasks:
Hardwaretypes, which shall be integrated in reporting incl. idea generation on planning/execution
- EMC Unity Storage (Data used from EMC SRM)
- EMC VNXe (Data used from EMC SRM)
- Huawei Oceanstore 9000 (Data checked via Huawei command line)
- Oracle Exadata (Data used from Caplan/BCO)
- EMC VPLEX
- Extension of existing data collection (EMC/NetApp/HDS/Oracle ZFS) to get data on compression factors + deduplication
- Mirantis Openstack
- HP converged Infrastructure
- HP 3par
- HDS HUS
Activities would be the development + automation of:
- Data collection scripts
- Textprocessingskripts which transform the collected raw data into a loadable form
- Dataloadskripts for clients Oracle-Database
- SQL-Skripts, which further process the loaded data in the database, existing reports
Skills:
- Good SAN/NAS Storagesystemen + SAN Netzwork experience
Developement experience in:
- Unix Shell Skripting
- Unix AWK or Perl Skripting for Text Processing
- Oracle SQLplus
- Oracle SQLLoader
- Oracle SQL und PL/SQL
- Design and implementatino of data objects such as tables and indices
