Proteus Europe is searching for System SW Engineer OnOff / Lifecycle Management for a permanent role based in Filderstadt, Germany

Your New role :-

As a system engineer in the Daimler project environment, you are responsible for the development and configuration of system components (mainly Linux) and carry out the following tasks in co-ordination with the project manager and according to the project plan:
- Analysis and evaluation of customer requirements internally and and externally with Focus on system startup behavior, resource utilization and runtime behavior
- Modeling of dependence similar dependencies of the system components f- r optimal Starting and operating status change
- design respectively. Development of architecture / modeling of the complex, about more HW components distributed state machine
- design respectively. Development of architecture / model the system ü mountain maturing Watchdog functionality similar t
- Analysis and optimization of software for performance, stability etc. t, memory requirements and Systemfunktionalit like t
- Documentation of the System Description With g ä-dependent tools like eg. Enterprise Architect, Rational, Matlab
- Supported above estimation one international Developer teams in the implementation of the model
- narrowness collaboration with hardware system design, architecture and suppliers
- Commissioning and verification of software developed internally as on workshops with clients or Suppliers

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-
- completed Degree in computer science / electrical engineering / communications engineering or comparable Studying
- Experience in the automotive sector respectively. embedded environment
- At least 5 years Experience as C / C ++ software developers
- Profound Knowledge of Linux Embedded Systems Programming
- practical Experience With Dependence ä ngigkeitsmodellierung for SW components in Linux, especially system d configuration
- expertise in GENIVI Environment, in particular life cycle management
- Experience With distributed Systems and IPC
- W ü desirable Experience in a or more following topics:
- g ä-dependent bus systems as eg. LIN, CAN, FlexRay
- AUTOSAR / Microcontroller OS (OSEC)
- Kernel / driver programming
- analytical skills and very good System experience in the embedded area /
- knowledge of system architectures

- Good German (asset) and English, spoken and written
