Our client is currently looking for an Oracle DBA & App Supporter (m/f) for a project in Frankfurt am Main.
- Assists in the distribution of pre-bundled software and hardware in accordance with standard processes using standard tools and scripts.
- Assists in the maintenance of existing systems using pre-determined solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Monitors systems in accordance with standard procedures; reviews information to identify issues; investigates and resolves matters of significance based upon standard scripts or procedures
- Troubleshoots routine issues based upon pre-determined solutions in accordance with standard procedures; develops appropriate course of action and escalates as appropriate
- Work autonomously and interact directly with the client counterparts
- Development of procedures for deployment of software components and performing data migrations and upgrades;
- Monitoring, administering and maintaining the databases;
- Investigating, analyzing and troubleshooting of connection issues;
- Investigating, analyzing and troubleshooting of capacity problems;
- Executing of procedures for deployment of software packages
- Installation/deployment of server-side and client-side software packages on the test and development environments.
- Troubleshooting of installation issues and update of installation documentation
- Collecting evidences during the deployment and reporting them to the responsible team
- Working with change management systems
Experience at least in 5 of the following tools in the field of
Database administration:
- Oracle RDBMS administration
- Oracle 11g, 12c administration
- Oracle RAC basic concepts
- Backup and recovery concepts
- Knowledge/work/experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris/Exadata platforms
- Knowledge/work/experience with SQL/PL SQL
- Investigate & analyze DB issues
- Investigate & analyze performance issues
- Support performance optimization
- Windows Server R2
- Apache Tomcat 8
- Microsoft IIS 8
- SSL Certificates
- Deployment of Web Applications in ISS and Tomcat 8
- Windows registry
- Teamplayer (m/f)
- Follow rules, processes and procedures set up by the project
Start: June 2017
Duration: long-termin project, 12 month with option of extension
Location: Frankfurt am Main (onsite!)
