Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for customer requests and production issues related to the following:
-- EDI messaging and web services
-- Trading partner connectivity over supported Covisint protocols, including OFTP, OFTP2, AS2, sFTP, FTPS, FTP/VPN, and HTTPS
-- Trading partner setup, Rule configuration, Application functionality, Data analysis
- Provide a point of escalation for Covisint EU Service desk around connectivity and EDI technical issues.
- Participate in customer-facing projects around trading partner migrations and/or new EDI solutions.
- Work closely with other functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of B2B communication standards & protocols, including OFTP, OFTP2, AS2, sFTP, FTPS, FTP/VPN, and HTTPS.
- Knowledge of XML, HL7 and EDI standards.
- Ability to analyze data in reference to EDI guidelines and mapping documents.
- Experience with automotive data integrations.
- Experience with webMethods, MQ or other middleware products.
- Knowledge of Unix, Oracle and SQL.
- Ability to create technical documentation.
- Must speak English and German.
- Must possess strong problem solving, debugging and problem management skills and be able to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to lead cross-functional teams consisting of internal and external customers in complex problem resolution efforts.
- Must be willing to work off-hours, as needed.
- Strong leadership and team management attributes
- Strong problem solving and written and verbal communications skills, with proven ability to work directly with customers at both the technical and business level.
