Cisco Administrator (w/m)
Standort: Raum Mannheim
Dauer: 3 Monate +++
Customer is renewing network equipment, replacing older hardware, and moving one of two data centers to a new building, with installation of completely new network infrastructure. As part of the move/renewal, capacity will be upgraded to 10Gbit
Network equipment vendors in use: Cisco, Arista

ca. 150 Cisco Network Devices in Berlin, Waiblingen, Flußgönheim, Lampertheim
25 WAN/VPN Routers (ASR1xxx, 7xxx, 3xxx, 2xxx)
30 WAN lines (EthernetSDH Telekom/Colt)
150 VPN lines (ISAKMP/IPSEC)
30 LAN Routers (Cat65xx, Cat37xx, Nexus7xxx, Nexus5xxx)
200 LAN ServerAccessSwitches (Cat49xx, Nexus55xx, Cat37xx)
250 LAN ClientAccessSwitches (Cat45xx, Cat37xx, Cat35xx)
40 LAN ProductionAccessSwitches (Cat29xx, Cat37xx, Cat35xx, Cat49xx)

Tasks:
- Installation of new devices or replacement of existing devices as part lifecycle renewal
- Installation/configuration and handover to operations for cisco hardware and non-cisco devices (e.g. security devices)
- Installation of access points and configuration of controllers
- configuration of LAN to LAN VPN connections to external business partners, in cooperation with customer organization and external business partners
- Create documentation and Visio diagrams
- prepare and implement switch configuration according to customer defined templates and examples
- Troubleshooting for LAN and WLAN (Wireshark, Ekahau)
- Prepare WLAN implementation plans or concepts
