German Speaking Network Engineer CCNA Qual
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a German Speaking Network engineer to join well established blue chip organisation based at their prestigious customer sites in Weisbaden, Delkenheim.
As a Network Support Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Network Equipment support (network, VOIP, video equipment)
- Onsite 3rd Party Vendor Escorting (H&F)
- Break-fix Network Equipment support (network, VOIP, video equipment), including 3rd Party Vendor engagement
- Network Component Software, Security patches
- De-installation, Upgrade and replace Network Equipment & Software, Data Transport Systems, & Cabling)
- End of Life Packaging and return to onsite 'location only (Not Asset Disposal)
- Topology HLD & LLD (FTE Only)
- Network equipment configuration
- Network Component Asset Configuration Management, including end of life CI updating
- Runbook maintenance (FTE only)
- WAN Optimisation:
- Install and maintain/support LAN Connectivity devices including cabling, video, multicast, VoIP
- WIRELESS LAN - Support for Access points, Antennae, wiring, & Wireless bridges
- Perform physical support of rack mountable UPS equipment
- Power Supply Management ie circuits, demarcation points; termination equipment; power & air conditioning (A/C), UPS, Telecom Closets
- Data Backup requirement: this is for Configuration Data (Switch/Router Tables, Settings, Firewall Settings etc, & or 'Call Accounting Software Suite)
- Asset Refresh(s) through AbbVie's Estate, when required
- SIT/LAB Testing for NW Infrastructure Projects, Network assets, Software, Transport Systems, and Cabling
