Senior Enterprise Architect Cloud/SaaS (m/f), English OR German Speaking
Our client in NRW is currently in urgent need of external support in the area of Enterprise Architecture.
Skills/Profile description:
- act as Enterprise Architect for product development over the next 12-18 months as the core product is developed
- this is a critical strategic role and will be on assignment from professional services to develop the core product so that it can be brought to customers
- advise on overall structural setup for SaaS architecture, including all rules and processes for designing micro-services, integration of services through process orchestration and the use of different cloud service components
- support development of product architecture and the delivery methods for the solution
- reports directly to the product manager and will be able to operate to establish big rules' for the overall development
- able to act as a detailed architect to support the development process - should also contribute to companywide enterprise architecture strategy to ensure continued alignment
Personal requirements
- candidate must have an extensive background in Service Orientated Architectures (SOA) with direct experience of designing solutions using industry best practice approaches
- likely to have come from a consulting or technology/SW development background
- should have knowledge, training and practical experience of Cloud Foundry (critical), MS Azure (strongly advised) and would expect to have industry recognized certifications.
- must also be able to demonstrate design experience in SaaS environment and related cloud delivery approaches ideally in an Azure related platform
- needs strong documentation skills to define product development and architectural approaches and the ability to coach development staff in the application.
- works in English, must also have good German
