Square One are currently looking for an Application Manager for a 6 month project based near Nuremberg.

- Understanding multi-layered, Middleware-based applications with a high number of users (J2EE, ESB, SOA) as well as portal architectures
- Understanding of Microsoft-based architectures/platforms and applications (including MS Sharepoint)
The role will involve:
- IT service-related operational responsibility within the framework of the IT operational processes
- In particular: Ensure the agreed service levels, among other things.
- Ensuring availability, performance, recoverability
- Ensure monitoring of ongoing application operations
- Provide required reporting data
- Coordination of the implementation of change requests including cost assessment, risk assessment, prioritization and commissioning for implementation
- Coordination of technical problem management to address sustainable and recurring problems Capacity planning;
- Availability and emergency planning
- Crisis management in operational accidents
- Quality assurance/enhancement;
- Initiate optimization measures
- Risk management
- Monitoring/coordination of operation introduction projects
- Comprehensive coordination activities
- Creation and maintenance of company documentation
- Support for the creation of fine concepts
