Video Marketing Analyst

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in Germany.

Position Title: Video Marketing Analyst
Position Type: Fixed term employment
Start Date: May 2017
Duration: 24 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with European Digital Video Services Providers including Telco TV operators, Cable TV operators, or OTT operators. Observe consumer, subscriber behavior and experience.
- Analysis their strategy plan, key requirements and marketing information above the evolution of Pay TV or MSO business, analysis their short, medium and long-term planning and industry trends.
- Analyze subscriber and potential subscriber behavior, find out new marketing target group.
- Responsible for drawing up insight reports, provide in-depth thinking and contributions to the marketing development.
- Responsible for new business opportunity and new business model mining for Video service innovation and network evolution.
- Responsible for IP Video, Telco TV, OTT or CDN Solution planning and management, focus on Telco Video infrastructure and Telco TV business, related with platform, applications and services.
- Responsible for region-level Video Solution’s strategy planning, business planning and roadmap development, Marketing Requirement Document development and drive overall solution vision and strategy.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- 10+ years direct experience in Video industry, 5+ years marketing analysis experience in TV or Video Industry ideally with a well-known video services provider or video equipment vendor.
- Rich experiences and skills of the TV or video service and business analysis and design with special emphasis on Telco TV, Cable TV or OTT Video, such as services packaged design, consumer behavior analysis, content value chain, video service evolution in-depth understanding of the industry evolution and trend.
- Has a strong influence, wide and deep visibility in the industry, rich experiences of speaker at industry conferences, client senior lectures, or any articles or opinions issued in the industry.
- Solid understanding of Telco TV, Cable TV or OTT TV market and business issues. Integrated product and solution development experience with world class operators preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated influence-based leadership skills, particularly the ability to gain support for a strategy and move cross-functional teams to consensus.
- Have good regional customer relationships and industry circles, having resources and experience of consulting firm will be a priority.
- Bachelor or higher degree of communication, media technology, computer, electronics or marketing.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German.
