Your Skills
- professional certification in Microsoft and VMware operating systems
- experience with infrastructure-related support
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- MS Operating systems including Windows 2008, 2012
- VMware ESX virtualization
- MS IIS Web Services
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server (2005, 2008)
- Hyper-V
- IP Services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Awareness of IT security best practices
- Basic knowledge of networking, IP, Switches, Servers, NICS
- Active Directory for group and user rights
- AWS/Azure (nice to have)
Your Tasks
- Response regarding any infrastructure service incidents and problems related to the global infrastructure services int hehosting environment
- Though acting as a first level contact
- Work in close cooperation with colleagues in Americas and Asia, plus global vendors and service providers to support the Global Technology and Operations Team worldwide as part of a follow-Sun operations group
- Responsible for identifying any infrastructure service related issues, analysing the root cause/area, prioritizing according to business impact and criticality of service, planning and implementing a solution in cooperation with external partners
- Perform pre-defined and pre-scheduled changes related to the various global, regional or local infrastructure services
