Infrastructure Engineer - Docker - MQ - Hybrid Cloud - Middleware
Remote working with visits to Hannover, Germany
Negotiable & competitive rates - 6 weeks initial contract + likely extension
The Infrastructure Engineer will play a pivotal role in the rollout of IBM MQ across a global infrastructure, allowing the cutting-edge hybrid cloud platform to communicate efficiently with the existing Legacy systems.
MQ will be run on containers, so commercial experience working with Docker is essential.
The role will be worked remotely, with occasional visits to site in Germany required when necessary.
Essential skills;
* Commercial experience of containerising, composing, deploying and running applications (ideally MQ) on Docker
* Strong understanding of large scale, hybrid cloud environments
* Good overall knowledge of IBM MQ (ideally able to install and configure)
* Familiar with messaging and architecture concepts
