Senior Video Service Planning ExpertWe are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in China.
Position Title: Senior Video Service Planning Expert
Position Type: Fixed term employment

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for European carrier’s video service market insight and business design.
- Responsible for video (Telco TV, Cable TV, OTT or CDN) solution planning and management, focus on carrier IP video infrastructure and Telco TV business, related with platform, applications and services.
- Responsible for region-level video solution’s strategy planning, business planning and roadmap development, MRD and PRD development and drive overall solution vision and strategy.
- Communicate with European customers including DT, other Telco and MSO to understand and collect their strategies and requirements in the evolution to IP video business and infrastructure, analyze short/medium/long-term customer needs and IT/CT industry trends to develop solution roadmap accordingly, provide in-depth thinking and contributions to the solution development. Finally, help customers to obtain business success.
- Responsible for video industrial and value chain analysis, Huawei IP Video Solution cooperation strategy definition in ecosystem.
- Responsible for new business opportunity and business model mining for new home entertainment video service innovation and network evolution.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- 10+ years direct experience in Telecommunication, 5+ years’ work experience in Video Industry(including OTT video service) ideally with a well-known video service operator or video equipment vendor.
- Strong Knowledge and experience in Video Service Design and Operation
- Rich experiences and skills of the telecom & consumer home entertainment video service operation, with special emphasis on Market Insight, such as market segment, target customer analysis and product design.
- Has a strong influence and visibility in the industry, rich experiences of speaker at industry conferences, client senior lectures, any articles or opinions issued in the industry.
- Solid understanding of telecom video service market and business issues. Integrated product and solution development experience with world class operators preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated influence-based leadership skills, particularly the ability to gain support for a strategy and move cross-functional teams to consensus
- Have good regional carrier customer relationships such as DT, VDF, LGI, and etc., having resources and experience of consulting firm will be a priority.
