For our client based in Nuremberg we are looking for a consultant (m/f) NAS systems.
Our client started the data center consolidation program. The aim of the program is to consolidate three datacenters into a single new one hosted by one clobal datacenter provider. The two major work streams are 1. the setup of the target datacenter infrastructure and 2. the preparation and execution of the application moves into the new location.
Aufgaben:
- Support architecture and implementation of basic infrastructure for storage domain (based on storage systems from different vendors and SAN Volume Controller for storage virtualization)
- Support the design and implementation of a backup system at the new location (based on CommVault Simpana)
Skills:
- Strong technical backround in the related storage virtualization technologies (SVC) for block based storage as well as knowledge of NAS systems (EMC Isilon) is a must
- Deep knowledge of data replication mechanism for migration of data and for setting up the DR environment
Please note that the work location is mainly Nuremberg, later in addition partly in Frankfurt.
